Coolants Plus, a wholesale distributor of Lubricants, Antifreeze/Coolants and Chemicals is celebrating 25 years of service and growth.
From a one-man startup in 1999 to today’s international company that has also launched one of the fastest growing lubricant brands in the U.S. and internationally, Coolants Plus has come a long way. Part of the reason for their success is the principal that founder Kurt Deimer instilled at the very beginning. Give customers access to products and delivery that corporate manufacturers just can’t. Add to that the can-do attitude of “If you need it, we’ll get it for you” and you can understand how customers began to see where Coolants Plus was poised to be a different kind of player in the market.
The growth came fast and furious. It only took 4 years to outgrow their 3,000 sq foot facility and move into a 36,000sq ft warehouse. In 2012 the STARFIRE flagship brand of products made its debut. The following few years included expansion into the south with the purchase of a second facility, the launch of the first STARFIRE product catalog, and another warehouse expansion. This time 130,000 sq ft.
In 2019, they purchased the PennStar blending facility in Allentown, PA. This expanded capabilities to include in-house packaging. Within 5 years up to 2024, 5 packaging lines are operational and an additional 250,000 gallons of tank storage and 130,000 sq ft of space has been added.
Today as Coolant’s Plus looks ahead to 2025 and beyond, we are proud of our partnerships with some of the world’s most important oil brands— Shell, Pennzoil, Quaker State, Citgo, Marathon, Valvoline & Castrol. AND of course, STARFIRE-America’s fastest-growing lubricant brand.
We owe this success to great customers and a rock-solid sales and service team that rooted with a “customer first” attitude. We are honored to have many of our staff with 20+ years of service. Additionally, we will be breaking ground on a new warehouse and corporate offices in Hamilton, Ohio scheduled for completion in March of 2025. We are looking forward to the next 25 years and continued service to our valued customers.
